You Prepare. We Review. We Submit.
Prepare your immigration application with professional support at defined stages. Your consultation and written service agreement establish the work you will complete, the professional services included and the applicable fees.
How It Works
1. Consultation and Initial Setup
You: Discuss your circumstances and goals, and provide accurate information.
Tabula Rasa: Assesses whether DIY support is suitable and confirms the agreed scope. Initial preparation includes the service agreement, appropriate portal setup, a personalized document checklist and preparation instructions.
Temporary residence initial preparation includes up to 1.5 hours; permanent residence initial preparation includes up to 2.5 hours, within the agreed scope.
2. Gather Your Documents
You: Gather the documents on your personalized checklist and identify anything you cannot obtain.
Tabula Rasa: Provides checklist guidance within the agreed service. Additional research or assistance may require a separate scope.
3. Scan and Format Your Documents
You: Prepare clear, complete electronic copies following the instructions supplied.
Tabula Rasa: Explains relevant formatting requirements. Document preparation, translation and third-party services remain subject to the agreed responsibilities and fees.
4. Complete Your Application Forms
You: Complete the required information accurately and disclose relevant history and circumstances.
Tabula Rasa: Provides instructions and identifies questions requiring professional assistance within the agreed scope.
5. Assemble and Upload Your Package
You: Organize and provide the completed package through the secure channel specified by the office.
Tabula Rasa: Explains the appropriate submission process. Portal arrangements vary by application type; do not send passwords or login credentials.
6. Professional Review and Submission
You: Respond to review questions, provide corrections and approve the final information and required declarations.
Tabula Rasa: Reviews and submits the application where included in the signed service agreement and authorized by you. The initial preparation fee should not be read as an all-inclusive review and submission fee.
7. Post-Submission Support
You: Notify the office of relevant changes and respond promptly to requests.
Tabula Rasa: Communicates routine office-initiated IRCC updates under the agreed service. Additional personalized assistance or more extensive work may require separately authorized services.
Pricing
- Temporary residence initial preparation: CAD $250.
- Permanent residence initial preparation: CAD $450.
- Additional professional services: CAD $150/hour.
Additional fees may apply.
Your written service agreement confirms the scope, fee estimate, payment terms and any additional authorized work before services begin.
Post-Submission Communication
Routine office-initiated IRCC updates are included under the agreed service. Additional client-requested personalized assistance may incur additional fees. Billable work must be identified and authorized in accordance with the service agreement. Material IRCC correspondence and professional obligations are not withheld pending payment for an optional additional response.
Additional Services
Reapplications, procedural fairness responses and matters involving possible misrepresentation require an individual assessment. Additional fees may apply. A reapplication is not appropriate in every case, and submitting again does not necessarily resolve a refusal or misrepresentation concern.
DIY or Full-Service Support?
DIY: You take the lead in gathering, scanning, organizing and completing your materials, with professional support at the stages specified in your agreement. This requires time and careful preparation.
Full service: Discuss a broader preparation and representation scope with your consultant. Responsibilities, review, submission, post-submission support and fees are confirmed separately.
